On 23rd July.2024 and on 25th July, 2024, students of Class IX and Class X visited the Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Ranchi. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the field of plastics engineering and polymer technology. CIPET Ranchi is a premier institute specializing in plastics engineering and technology. It offers cutting-edge research facilities, training programs, and industry collaborations aimed at advancing the field of plastics. The institute is known for its contributions to both education and industry in plastics technology. The main objective for visit was to gain practical knowledge of plastics engineering processes, to understand the application of polymer science in various industries and to explore career opportunities and research areas in the field of plastics. Students gained a deeper understanding of plastics engineering and its applications in various industries which provided clarity on career opportunities and required skills in the plastics sector. Hands-on experience with equipment and processes enriched students' academic knowledge with practical insights and also students established connections with industry professionals and researchers, which could benefit their future careers. The visit to CIPET, Ranchi was highly educational and beneficial for the students. It provided a valuable opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice.
