Description: Holy Child Public School, Hehal, Ranchi, conducted a two-day environmental awareness campaign titled Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam on 11th and 12th August 2025. The initiative aimed to foster a sense of responsibility towards nature and to honor the invaluable role of mothers in our lives.
As part of the campaign:
Kindergarten students enthusiastically participated in a plantation activity within the school premises, learning the importance of trees and nature through hands-on experience.
Class V students were encouraged to plant saplings at their homes, with the support and active involvement of their mothers. On this occasion, mothers were invited to the school to participate in plantation activities alongside their children, symbolizing nurturing and growth—both of the child and the environment.
The campaign beautifully combined environmental responsibility with emotional bonding, making it a memorable and meaningful event for students, parents, and staff alike.
