A visit to Jharkhand Government Tool Room
Description:
An educational
trip was organized by Holy Child Public School for the students of Std X under
the supervision of the Vice Principal Mr. Shyam Kishor Mehta, Mrs. Meghmala
Kumari, Mr. Maurice Madhukar Kujur & Mr. Sayeedur Rahman. The field trip was organized with a motive to culture
interest about the tools and machines, thereby enabling them to understand the
necessity of tool skills and training.
Our students witnessed a lot of machines such as laser printer,
tissue paper maker, paper plates manufacturing machine, pressure checking
machine etc under the guidance of Principal of Jharkhand Government Tool Room
Mr. Mahesh Gupta and some of the volunteers of the institute helped our
students to build their understandings of industrial processes by experiencing
firsthand resources and facilities the JGTR offers. The machine ‘Deckel Maho’ which
was imported from Germany was shown and explained by Mr. Ansh Babu, the faculty
of Maintenance Department. The tool skills and recognition development will
help the children to inculcate qualities of small skills as motioned by Pradhan
Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna.
A field tour to Jharkhand Government Tool Room at Tatisilwai,
Ranchi was a splendid opportunity for students to expand their understanding of
tool manufacturing and engineering. By witnessing the manufacturing process,
interacting with professionals and experiencing the practical aspects of the
industry. Students were encouraged to explore their passion and solidify their
aspirations. This experiential learning opportunity served as a stepping stone
towards a rewarding career in the thriving field of engineering and tool
design.
